Two pieces: a companion on your Mac, and the app on your iPhone.

1. The Mac companion

Homebrew is the easiest route: it keeps itself up to date afterwards.

brew install --cask tjameswilliams/tap/remote-for-opencode

Or download it directly:

Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later, and OpenCode. The companion will tell you if it can't find it. Signed and notarized by Apple.

2. The iPhone app

On the App Store. It does nothing on its own; it needs the companion above to talk to.

3. Pair them

  • Open the companion on your Mac and choose Pair iPhone…
  • Open the app on your iPhone.
  • Confirm both screens show the same six-digit code.

Both devices need to be signed into the same iCloud account; that is how they find each other without you configuring anything.
